Description
The brief was an ai floor-plan generator landing page — nothing more. Draftsman is what came out: a brutalist landing page that gets out of the way once you have what you came for.
- One dependency, and it is the framework
- Fully typed end to end
- Deploys on push, no build config
Stack is Claude Code and Tailwind. Nothing exotic: the interesting work was in the data model, and the UI followed once that was right.
Open to feedback, especially on the parts I have stopped being able to see.
Workflow
Drafted the blueprint hero with Claude Code
Built it as one component with props rather than three near-copies — the variants that nothing passed got deleted a week later.
Styled with a Tailwind grid-paper background
Spacing on a single scale. Every hand-picked pixel value in the first draft turned into a bug somebody else had to find.
