Description

Built for anyone who wants a journaling app landing page and none of the setup that usually comes with one. Willow leans minimal — plenty of room, very little chrome — and everything on screen is something you can act on.

  • Everything on one screen — no tabs, no wizard
  • Keyboard-first: / focuses search, esc closes anything
  • Works offline once it has loaded

Stack is Lovable and Claude Code. Nothing exotic: the interesting work was in the data model, and the UI followed once that was right.

It is finished in the sense that I use it daily and have stopped changing it.

Workflow

  1. Designed the hero in Lovable

    Blocked it out at three widths before writing any styles, so the breakpoints came from the content rather than from a device list.

  2. Refined copy with Claude Code

    Iterated on the prompt rather than on the output — fixing the generated code by hand meant losing the fix on the next regeneration.
