Description

Built for anyone who wants a dark-mode analytics landing page and none of the setup that usually comes with one. Nocturne leans minimal — plenty of room, very little chrome — and everything on screen is something you can act on.

  • Loads in under a second on a cold cache
  • Dark and light, following the system
  • No accounts, no cookies, nothing stored server-side

Stack is Cursor and Supabase. Nothing exotic: the interesting work was in the data model, and the UI followed once that was right.

Next up: better empty states, and a proper import path for people arriving with existing data.

Workflow

  1. Scaffolded in Cursor

Kept the prompts in the repo next to what they produced, so a regeneration six months later starts from the same place.

  2. Wired Supabase counts

Row-level security from the start — it is far harder to retrofit than to write while the table is still empty.

  3. Shipped static

Preview builds per branch, which turned code review into looking at the thing rather than reading the diff.
