Description
Built for anyone who wants an indie zine publishing platform and none of the setup that usually comes with one. Inkwell leans brutalist — plenty of room, very little chrome — and everything on screen is something you can act on.
- Responsive down to a phone without a separate layout
- Every action is undoable
- Shareable state — the URL is the document
Stack is Astro and Stripe. Nothing exotic: the interesting work was in the data model, and the UI followed once that was right.
Still rough: the mobile layout works but has not been designed, and I know it.
Workflow
Generated the first pass in Astro
Kept the prompts in the repo next to what they produced, so a regeneration six months later starts from the same place.
