35. Terracotta

Ceramics studio storefront

by Jonas Leyva

Preview of Terracotta, an online store

Description

Terracotta is a minimal e-commerce built to do one thing well: ceramics studio storefront. It started as a single prompt and a rough idea of the layout, and most of what shipped came out of that first pass.

  • Everything on one screen — no tabs, no wizard
  • Keyboard-first: / focuses search, esc closes anything
  • Works offline once it has loaded

Stack is Bolt and Stripe. Nothing exotic: the interesting work was in the data model, and the UI followed once that was right.

Open to feedback, especially on the parts I have stopped being able to see.

Workflow

  1. Generated the first pass in Bolt

Iterated on the prompt rather than on the output — fixing the generated code by hand meant losing the fix on the next regeneration.
