Description
EmberStudio is a small, minimal thing that does exactly one job. It was built in a few sittings and has not needed much since.
- Everything on one screen — no tabs, no wizard
- Keyboard-first:
/focuses search,esccloses anything - Works offline once it has loaded
Stack is Bolt and Stripe. Nothing exotic: the interesting work was in the data model, and the UI followed once that was right.
It is finished in the sense that I use it daily and have stopped changing it.
Workflow
Generated the first pass in Bolt
Iterated on the prompt rather than on the output — fixing the generated code by hand meant losing the fix on the next regeneration.
