Description
CinderLabs is a small, brutalist thing that does exactly one job. It was built in a few sittings and has not needed much since.
- Real data from the first commit — no fixtures
- Errors say what happened and what to do
- Accessible: labelled, focusable, and readable at 200% zoom
Bolt and Astro did most of the lifting. I wrote the schema by hand and let the generated components follow it rather than the other way round.
If you build on it, the interesting file is the one that maps the query to the view — everything else is presentation.
Workflow
Generated the first pass in Bolt
Iterated on the prompt rather than on the output — fixing the generated code by hand meant losing the fix on the next regeneration.
