Description

AsterLabs is a editorial dashboard built to do one thing well: analytics console. It started as a single prompt and a rough idea of the layout, and most of what shipped came out of that first pass.

  • Everything on one screen — no tabs, no wizard
  • Keyboard-first: / focuses search, esc closes anything
  • Works offline once it has loaded

Stack is Claude Code and Three.js. Nothing exotic: the interesting work was in the data model, and the UI followed once that was right.

Next up: better empty states, and a proper import path for people arriving with existing data.

Workflow

  1. Generated the first pass in Claude Code

    Kept the prompts in the repo next to what they produced, so a regeneration six months later starts from the same place.
