27. AsterStudio

Analytics console

Preview of AsterStudio

Description

This started as an analytics console and was rebuilt from scratch after the first version collapsed under its own options. AsterStudio keeps the minimal shell and throws away everything that was not being used.

  • Real data from the first commit — no fixtures
  • Errors say what happened and what to do
  • Accessible: labelled, focusable, and readable at 200% zoom

Built with Claude Code and Supabase, deployed on a free tier, and it has not needed a single fix since it went up.

If you build on it, the interesting file is the one that maps the query to the view — everything else is presentation.

Workflow

  1. Generated the first pass in Claude Code

Kept the prompts in the repo next to what they produced, so a regeneration six months later starts from the same place.
